The Centre hosts the Piotr Piotrowski Archive donated by his wife, Maria Żuk-Piotrowska.
The archive contains, among others, different versions of texts written by Piotr Piotrowski, sometimes with his comments, replies to reviews or correspondence with the editors. It also includes materials related to Piotrowski’s participation in scientific conferences, research projects, exhibitions or his activity in museums and related institutions; articles of other authors and notes taken when working on publications or lectures; as well as PhD theses written under his scientific supervision or reviewed by him. Moreover, the Archive contains documents related to Piotrowski’s intervention activities.
The Archive is kept in the History of Art Institute of the Adam Mickiewicz University.
The Archive can be accessed by all visitors. It does not have permanent opening hours yet, so it is necessary to agree on the time of the visit in advance. In order to do so, please contact Maryna Płuchator, marpl@amu.edu.pl, tel. + 48 61 829 37 24
